With a robust background in real estate private equity at Blackstone, he played a pivotal role in investing in Japan's mountain resorts, retreat destinations and boutique hotels as the former Head of Investment at Patience Capital Group. Passionate about sustainable development and economic revitalization, Shin leverages his academic foundation to drive impactful projects. He collaborates closely with diverse stakeholders, from local communities to global brands, and actively contributes to governmental initiatives such as the Japan Tourism Agency's local revitalization efforts andaction plans for Osaka Expo 2025 led by METI.
Shin's influence extends beyond advisory roles; he serves on the board of TRUNK, a Japanese luxury boutique hotel operator, where he aims to expand the brand's reach both domestically and internationally.
