Anmol is currently the Head of Development, Asia Pacific & Middle East for Generator – voted one of the top 50 Most Innovative Global Companies by Fast Company. Anmol’s appointment followed record-breaking performance for the business and movements to consolidate its presence in key markets across Europe and the United States and the growing interest in Generator’s unique hybrid accommodation model. Anmol has been tasked with spearheading the expansion of Generator’s business into key destinations across the APAC & Middle East regions under its two hybrid-hotel brands Generator & Freehand Hotels and its globally acclaimed F&B Brand ‘Broken Shaker’.
Generator and Freehand Hotels are a collection of lifestyle and design-led boutique hotels, offering a broad spectrum of accommodation ranging from shared dormitories to private rooms and luxurious penthouse suites. Complemented by a plethora of award-winning food and beverage outlets, including poolside rooftop bars, eclectic restaurants, and lively clubs, each property delivers unforgettable experiences for guests while concurrently maximizing profitability.
With a significant footprint in the most trending European and North American destinations (and newly-secured pipeline properties), Generator and Freehand Hotels are now poised for expansionand continues to explore opportunities in key tourism hubs across the Europe, North America, Middle East and Asia Pacific, with a diversified approach that includes real estate acquisitions, leases, and management agreements tailored to individual assets or comprehensive portfolios. Going into 2025, Generator continues its development push on the back of another record-breakingperformance year in 2024.
Before joining Generator, Anmol held key Development appointments including leading andimplementing development strategies as Vice President of Development, Asia Pacific and Middle East at Standard International. Anmol also oversaw development initiatives at Singapore-headquartered regional hotel and resorts owner-operator Park Hotel Group and the global Jumeirah Group's Asia Business Unit, managing large property portfolios and expansion - covering various segments including Luxury, Lifestyle and Upscale across the regions.
