Jason M. Friedman, a native New Yorker, brings over 30 years of distinguished experience in the hospitality industry to his role as Managing Director of J.M. Friedman Hospitality, a premier consultancy firm specializing in the development and management of small luxury hotels. With a career spanning multiple continents, Jason has collaborated with revered brands such as Four Seasons, Raffles, Amanresorts, Rosewood, and InterContinental, as well as independent properties like The Siam and Qualia Australia, offering unparalleled expertise and insight into luxury hospitality.
J.M. Friedman Hospitality was established in early 2016 following a proposal by designer Bill Bensley. Recognizing the growing need for specialized advisory services in South East Asia, Jason was instrumental in creating a company dedicated to the development and operation of small luxury resorts and tented camps. This venture was born from a long-standing professional relationship with Bensley, highlighted by successful projects such as The Four Seasons Tented Camp and The Siam Bangkok.
In its eight years of operation, J.M. Friedman & Co. has successfully partnered with prestigious brands like Rosewood, Shinta Mani, Phu Chaisai, Kudanil Explorer, Aqua Expeditions, and NEOM. The firm has established itself as a valued advisor and representative, known for its adept handling of the development and ongoing operations of small luxury hotels, tented camps, and ships.
Jason's academic credentials include a Master of Management in Hospitality from Cornell University and a Bachelor of Science from Lewis and Clark College.
