Catherine Shaw

Catherine Shaw is a leading writer, editor, and consultant specialising in architecture and design. She has written and contributed to over ten books, including award-winning monographs on art collector and designer Alan Chan, and on architect William Lim's Asian design philosophy. She has also authored books on architect André Fu, on Turkish interior designer Zeynep Fadıllıoğlu, and on Beijing-based OPEN Architecture's most significant cultural projects across China. Her most recent publication explores Danish design infused with a Japanese spirit through the works of OEO Studio.
An international design consultant with Master’s degrees in urban and environmental planning, Catherine also advises on design trends, and is a regular speaker and moderator at design events such as Milan Design Week and Art Basel Hong Kong. She divides her time between Hong Kong and London.
